Club members from Birmingham City University, Chain Bridge Forge and Trinity Buoy Wharf talk us through their exhibition pieces and the skills they’ve developed! At Chain Bridge Forge, Club members explored traditional blacksmithing techniques such as tapering, scrolling and riveting. Birmingham City University Club members focused on stitching and recycling, while at Trinity Buoy Wharf, they used textile craft skills such as stitching, natural dyeing and knitting, taking inspiration from the historic steamship SS Robin.
