🌍 Introducing: Supporting Sanctuary Seekers in Oldham 🕊️ This #RefugeeWeek, we're excited to begin sharing details of a new programme designed to improve the support offer for asylum seekers and refugees living in Oldham Funded by Greater Manchester Combined Authority, and delivered in partnership with I love Oldham (Oldham Council, OMBC) and Get Oldham Working, the programme responds to the rise in asylum decisions since 2023. It aims to strengthen the capacity of Oldham’s VCFSE sector to deliver community-led, holistic, and trauma-informed support, creating inclusive, sustainable pathways to independence and meaningful community participation (fb)
