Splashing our way through summer🏖️ We can’t believe we’re nearing the end of the holidays. This summer we’ve hosted over 130 young people, aiming to provide a sense of joy, adventure and magic for some of London most disadvantaged young people. Whether it’s building sandcastles at the beach, toasting marshmallows on a roasting fire at camping or building relationships with peers or trusted adults, we’re so proud of all the young people that come to Free to Be 🧡 (fb)

GROWING CHILDRENS EMOTIONAL HEALTH SUPPORTING CHILDHOODS WITH NATURE NURTURE LOVE Every young person deserves a childhood filled with love joy and adventure but sadly for many the reality is the stark opposite. Poverty trauma and other adversities overshadow experiences and change the way children think about the world and their place in it. Our therapeutic residentials mentoring and youth leadership programmes use joy adventure and the outdoors to provide intensive opportunities to restore what is missing helping young people redefine themselves to better see their worth talents and potential. And in turn to rebuild the foundations of positive mental health.
