It only costs 10 cents to kill a rhino 🦏💔 The most common tools used by poachers against African wildlife are these simple wire snares. Made from cheap and easily-to-find fencing wire, they're easily strung across pathways and migration routes. Once an animal enters the noose, the wire tightens and doesn't let go. It's a slow and agonising death. Apologies for the graphic images 🙏😔 Our Rangers are patrolling every day, on the constant lookout for poacher spore and snares like these. It takes a very trained eye to see the thin wire against the branches and grasses of the African bush. We are able to be in the field thanks to donations from our supporters.
