Summer tutorials! ☀️📚 This year we ran extra tutorials again for students around Gondar, whose schooling has been affected by conflict & who are due to sit exams in the new school year. 83 children attended, 4 days a week over 2 months. They had lessons in key subjects - maths, English, citizenship, history and sciences. This year we were additionally able to provide drinks and snacks to help their focus and to cover transport costs for children travelling from further distances. A former sponsored student held a motivational talk and discussion with the students, sharing his story and his advice for staying on track and motivated despite difficult circumstances.
