New Movement Collective

New Movement Collective (NMC) is a UK-based nonprofit organization and registered charity (charity number 1168116) devoted to the promotion and advancement of contemporary dance. Founded by a group of dance artists, NMC focuses on redefining the boundaries of choreography and performance through ambitious, cross-disciplinary practices that challenge conventional theatrical forms. Using digital platforms like Zoom, Project XO Remote explored the interaction between audience and performer in immersive and technologically mediated ways, questioning traditional notions of power and participation in performance. This adaptability allowed NMC to reach a broader, global audience while maintaining the project's experimental and participatory nature.
