On Sunday, we were delighted to be joined by members of our Reading Half Marathon and Green Park Challenge charity teams from 2024 and 2025, who jointly fundraised the lion share of the £47,430 we granted to Buscot Ward to pay for two brand new incubators last month. It was great to be joined by representatives of Buscot nurses and nursery nurses to celebrate their achievement and dust off our giant cheque too. These incubators will go on to help save countless lives for the next 10 years, and with around 600 babies being cared for on Buscot every single year that's a lot of tiny lives saved 💜 (fb)

BIBS Babies in Buscot Support is the registered charity supporting babies and their families in the special care baby unit Buscot Ward at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. Established in 1987 the charity has always been parentled. The Trustees and staff have all had babies who have needed neonatal care. We have walked in the shoes of the very families we exist to support.
