Important Update!! We are absolutely gutted, but the decision has been made to cancel the Isle of Ely Head Race on Sunday, 2 November. 😭 Due to building work at our neighbours, there is a significant reduction in the usual available space for trailers and general access. The normal designated areas for rigging/derigging and carrying boats safely have been severely limited. We are hoping to reschedule this awesome event early in the new year once works have been completed. It's that time of the year again!! The Isle of Ely Head Race is taking place on Sunday, 2 November and we just can't wait!! Voted as one of the top 10 places to row in the UK, our stretch of The Rive Great Ouse offers 5km of wide, straight water between the start at Sandhill Bridge in Littleport and the Finish at Queen Adelaide in Ely.
