We had a fantastic evening at the Spring Festival preview, kindly hosted by the Pemberton Old Wigan DW Band. It was a brilliant chance to share a practice performance of our test piece, "Fantasy for Brass Band," ahead of next weekend’s contest. Welcome to Eccles Borough Bands Website Eccles Borough Band is currently enjoying one of its most successful periods in recent times. The band is delighted to have consolidated its position in the First Section for 202223 thanks to the hard work of the bands players and supporters. The band regularly performs on the concert stage with biannual concerts at Eccles Town Hall a particular highlight as well as a busy festive season in the Salford area and further afield. The band rehearse in its own band room in the heart of Eccles and has done so as far back as 1920 with current members having travelled from as far afield as Japan Germany Canada Scotland Australia Wales and even Yorkshire to play with Eccles finest.
