Meet Meringue!🦭 This tiny grey seal pup was rescued from Widemouth Bay by @bdmlr_seal_hospital_cornwall after rough seas left her exhausted and separated from her mum. At just a few days old, she needed urgent care, including eyedrops, antibiotics, and fish soup every 4 hours! Thanks to lots of care, her eyes have healed, she’s tucking into whole fish, which she LOVES🐟 and is slowly gaining weight. She’s still so tiny so has to have her heat lamp on sometimes, but she’s getting stronger every day! Come and visit our pups in our hospital on your next trip to the Sanctuary! (fb)

A Sad Farewell to Cliff 💔 We are deeply saddened to share that our much-loved puffin, Cliff, sadly passed away after a sudden illness on Friday 5th September. Cliff was truly one of a kind, from copying Karen’s every move to finding a partner in Billie, he quickly became part of our sanctuary family and brought joy to everyone who met him. Thank you to everyone who supported, visited, and adopted Cliff during his time with us. Puffin Island won’t be the same without him, but his memory will always live on.
