This year, eight schools across the The Rivers CofE Academy Trust have been exploring music in exciting new ways through our teacher development project ‘Sing Speak Shine’ with the Paul Hamlyn Foundation. 🎶 Ollie has introduced teachers and pupils to the energy of body percussion, using rhythm and movement to make music without instruments. 🎤 Danny has brought the power of rap, helping children turn their thoughts and stories into lyrics and beats. 🗣️ Matt has inspired everyone with spoken word, encouraging creative language and performance skills. We are looking forward to seeing how the project develops further next year, offering further opportunities for teachers to develop, collaborate, and inspire their pupils through music. (fb)
