GRACE & WINSTON ADOPTED 🎉 Grace and Winston have found their forever home! They’ve even got new names to match their fresh start — Grace is now Penny, short for Penelope from The Odyssey, and Winston is now Banjo, named after their adopter’s favourite instrument to play 🪕 You can follow their adventures on their very own account: @thepennybanjo 🧡 Penny and Banjo came into our care back in October 2024, after we pulled them from a shelter where they were living in a small metal cage. Each had recently undergone a leg amputation, and without our intervention, they wouldn’t have survived or ever seen the outside world again. Thanks to the love and dedication of our volunteer foster, they blossomed — coming out of their shells and forming the most heartwarming bond and found comfort in each other. ABANDONED KITTEN How could anyone put a tiny kitten in a box and dump it on the side of the road, leaving it to die? This is exactly what happened to this kitten. He was found by our volunteer during a feeding round on the outskirts of the city. Despite being abandoned and left for dead, he’s still playful—completely unaware of how cruel some people can be.
