The York Mystery Plays Supporters Trust supports the city’s Mystery Plays in their various incarnations. Join us as we raise both funds and awareness - and have some fun in the process! Operates in the city of York raising awareness and understanding of York's medieval Mystery Plays, raises funds for community performances of the Plays and works with Arts and tourism stakeholders to coordinate and support performances.

Welcome to the York Mystery Plays Supporters Trust Keeping The Story Alive York Mystery Plays and the YMPST Keeping the story alive Supporting and maintaining the community tradition of the Mystery Plays in the city of York. The History ofYork Mystery Plays The York Mystery Plays are a cycle of 48 pageants individual plays covering biblical events from Creation to the Last Judgement. Other Mystery Play cycles exist but York stands out as having the most complete. Recent York MysteryPlays Productions We brought forth The Baptism play in Holy Trinity in 2023 as part of the Goodramgate festival.
