We’ve had a request from the disability consortium we are members of, and we need your help ASAP: “We are looking to include pen portraits (or case studies if applicable) of people who currently receive the Universal Credit health element and so, if they had claimed after April 2026, would have been affected by the £3,000 a year cut. The briefing would be sent directly to MPs and also shared online, so we would need to make sure we have permission to share these in this way. Ideally these would take the form of a short paragraph which includes: Any information about how that person’s condition affects their daily life and ability to work Any information about their financial circumstances (If possible) any information about the WCA descriptors they satisfy.” We need to collate these before Monday, so if you are able to, please send to: info@aimscharity.org as soon as you can.
