A team of volunteers led by Izzy will be running the Bristol Half Marathon for us. Izzy loves volunteering with us and is doing so much to rope her friends in to run too. Thank you Izzy. Why Izzy is supporting us: "I love volunteering at camp - it is one of the best weeks of my year. Seeing how much the kids get out of it is amazing and the activities put on are so much fun. I am fundraising so that these activities can be the best that they can be - I think this year we are hoping to have flying lessons! The kind of activities that we have are often not accessible or doable in day to day life for the kids, so making them as special as possible is really important." Home Our Camps Important Information How to Help About Us FAQ Blog More Heswall Disabled Children39s Holiday Fund Hosting free camps for children with disabilities Heswall Disabled Childrens Holiday Fund have been hosting free holidays for disabled children since 1962 We are driven by a desire to provide opportunities for those children that might not otherwise be available to them and to provide respite to their families Our Locations Every year we host two camps for up to 35 children aged 915 at each camp. At our camp the children benefit from the independence it offers them. For many this is the only time they spend away from home all year. North West Camp Our camp in the NorthWest of England is held at the Barnstondale Centrein Heswall every August.
