TroZonX17, is a non profit, research-driven organisation, developing affordable, easy-to-use diagnostic tests to detect infectious neglected tropical diseases. TroZonX17 works in the field of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) which affect some of the world's poorest populations. The charity develops accessible diagnostic toools which can be used at community level to test and treat people with NTDs such as Chagas, Leishmaniasis and Sleeping Sickness. The charity also works to promote understanding and awareness of NTDs internationally.

We develop affordable tests that diagnose neglected tropical diseases to help put these debilitating diseases on the road to eradication. Neglected tropical diseases affect more than 1 billion people every year. The World Health Organisation have identified a group of Neglected Tropical Diseases NTDs for elimination but without sensitive and reliable diagnostic tests many who suffer from them will go untreated.
