Greenside Community Centre
A local Community Centre run by volunteers, for use by the local community and surrounding areas. Originally built as the Miners Welfare Hall in 1925. Provide a clean, safe and welcoming facility for the local community to hold events, public meetings and regular activities. Including keep fit, dog training, yoga, playgroups, church activities, cycle club, sugarcraft, italian classes, WI, Local History group, childrens parties, polling station, councillor surgery, Bird Weekend, Paranormal etc.

Greenside Community Centre Greenside Community Centre Serving the Community since 1925 Originally built as the Miners Welfare Hall Greenside Community Centre has recently been restored with brand new facilities and is available to hire at a reasonable cost. Main Content The very large main hall see photo below is ideal for childrens parties sport dancing ceilidhs wedding receptions and special events. The main hall also features a stage area and has lots of space for many activities tables and chairs. Externally we are about to have all of the old pebble dash removed and replaced by a new waterproof durable render.
