On 𝐔𝐊 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲, this absolutely has to be shared. It’s in the book (see below)… and when I first came up with the idea of creating 𝗣𝗼𝗲𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀, I immediately asked Sinead if I could include this one. The poem is raw, honest, and straight from the heart. It touches on the silent struggles many face when dealing with suicidal ideation — something far too common, and something I know too many people have gone through. Thankfully, many come through the other side. I’m grateful for that. Thank you, Sinead, for allowing this to be part of the project.
