Charity educating and promoting visual arts , membership professional and amateur. http://t.co/dsL9dkyLrs The Reading Guild of Artists (RGA), founded in 1930, is a group of professional and amateur artists in the Berkshire area, exhibitions workshops events THE RGA PROMOTES THE STUDY OF ART AND HELPS TO ADVANCE PRACTICAL ARTISTIC ABILITY BY MEANS OF LECTURES, WORKSHOPS, DEMONSTRATIONS, CRITICISM, AND SUMMER PAINTING DAYS. ANYONE MAY JOIN AND MEMBERS RANGE FROM NOVICES TO PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS. ABILITY MUST BE SHOWN BEFORE WORK IS ENTERED IN THE SEVERAL EXHIBITIONS HELD EACH YEAR.

Founded 1930 Founded 1930 The Reading Guild of ArtistsRGA founded in 1930 is a diverse group of professional and amateur artists in the Berkshire UK area. Membershipis open to all and new members are very welcome from complete beginners to experienced professionals or those just interested in art. Nonmembers are welcome to attend our Earley Painters sessions RGA Fridays Summer Painting Days and Summer Workshops. Portrait Drawing from Life In this workshop Mick McNicholas will introduce a number of techniques to approach drawing a portrait from life.
