Lions Clubs in the South East have donated £33k for AAKSS to purchase 13 sets of newly designed medical bags for call out by helicopter and response vehicles. Helene Poursain, Head of Public Fundraising, for Air Ambulance KSS added: “The Lions’ generosity has been invaluable. Their support makes a real difference on the ground, and this project is a brilliant example of how lasting partnerships save lives.” Since 2012 the Lions have donated £525k to AAKSS. (fb)

Maidstone Lions Club We Serve Welcome Maidstone Lions Clubwas chartered in 1959 and celebrated its DIAMOND CHARTER in 2019. It is estimated that over that time the Club has distributed in excess of1 million pounds of aid since its formation. Saturday 21st December Maidstone Lions Santa We will be joining Santa to give out free toys to children in Week Street near the entrance to Fremlins Walk Any money we collect on the day will be used for charitable causes in the Maidstone area.
