April in numbers at the Solomon’s/Big Love Farm • Over 14,000 litres of milk collected ❤️ • A whopping 2,123 kg of cheese and cașcaval produced and sold 🙌🏻 (Cașcaval is a traditional Romanian cheese, a bit like cheddar, perfect for melting or frying.) The new milking parlour is doing its job, helping support the local economy, resource more children’s centres, and create employment opportunities for young people. What a week it’s been—we give thanks. We started in Romania—checking in at the farm and the house build—and ended it back home with some brilliant milestones: • Our first completed Kids Hope Course at Mildmay Primary—the kids were ace. • Football mentoring sessions—we’re really proud of these lads. • Another great week with Open Road Chelmsford, spending time with some incredible ladies. • Plans for our teenage group trip to Romania in May are taking shape nicely. • Conversations are underway to support children’s palliative care which we will share more on later this year.
