🧡 A Huge Thank You from BDYC 🧡 A few weeks ago, our garage lock-up was broken into and all of our camping equipment was stolen - tents, beds, sleeping bags… everything we use to take our Young Carers to the incredible Young Carers Festival each year. We were gutted. But what happened next reminded us exactly why we love this community so much. The people of Basingstoke rallied around us in the most amazing way - offering donations, replacement equipment, and so much kindness and support. From tents to airbeds, and sleeping bags to cash donations, you’ve helped us rebuild. And for that, we say a huge and heartfelt THANK YOU from everyone at Basingstoke & District Young Carers 💙 Your support means our Young Carers won’t miss out on next year’s festival. 🙏 One Last Ask… We are now looking for a secure storage space for this equipment. After what happened, we’re understandably worried about using another garage. If you’re a local business with a bit of secure storage space - even just a small room or area we could use - we’d love to hear from you.
