Aberystwyth 25-27 October Kotatsu Japanese Animation Festival, founded in 2010 is an annual festival presenting and celebrating the best of Japan's distinctive anime independent short films and mainstream feature films as well as educational workshops for children and people of all ages. Activities are normally held at two of Wales' leading arts venues, in Cardiff and Aberystwyth, while some may be hosted online.

Kotatsu Japanese Animation Festival Home Kotatsu Festival 2024 Join us for a seasonal screening of Satoshi Kons Tokyo Godfathers. Tickets can be purchased via the Chapter website or from their Box Office on 44029 2031 1050. Tokyo Godfathers Dec 21st 23rd 7th December 2024 Today we have very sad news. Our beloved Trustee Rahul David Sethi has left our Kotatsu Japanese Animation Festival.
