This week is Mental Health Awareness Week. At Camp Jojo one of the main drivers for making camping accessible and possible for families of children with complex needs and disabilities, is the boost to their wellbeing that comes from being at camp. Our families struggle with social isolation, fear, stress, anxiety, financial burden, lack of support...the list goes on and takes its toll. At Camp Jojo we strive to remove barriers and help our families to set down their load for a few days and just having fun outdoors, as a family.
