Home The West Midlands Fire Service Pipe Band is a traditional Pipe Band based on the Highland Bagpipe with accompanying Snare and Tenor Drummers. Based in Birmingham the band is affiliated to the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association and competes in contests throughout the UK. A major function of the band is to represent and be ambassadors for the West Midlands Fire Service performing at public and community events such as parades carnivals and Fire Service functions. Members are volunteers from all walks of life and are of a wide age range.
