Today GCSE results are out, and like so many parents, I’ve been thinking about what they mean. To my son — and to every young person receiving their grades today — please hear this: these results do not define you. Your worth is not measured in numbers on a page or by achievements the world applauds. Before Jesus ever performed a miracle, before He preached a sermon, before He “achieved” anything in human terms, the Father declared over Him: “This is my Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased.” That same love, that same delight, rests on every child of God. So whether the grades are what you hoped for or not, remember this: God’s love for you is unshakable, unconditional, and not dependent on performance but on His grace. My heart is full of love and pride for my son today — not because of grades, but because of who he is: a precious child of God, deeply loved. (fb)
