Last weekend saw members of our team attend the Lowland Rescue AGM and Conference weekend at Cranfield University. Very interesting guest speakers, including Commander Lis Chappell - Metropolitan Police Service and Chief Superintendent Mark Roberts QPM - Police Service of Northern Ireland We were very pleased to be awarded a Certificate of Commendation for our role in flood response assisting Northamptonshire Search and Rescue with the evacuation of Billing Aquadrome. Who are we. We are Oxfordshires Lowland Rescue team. A team of professional volunteers on call 247 to search for high risk vulnerable missing people support the emergency services and support Oxfordshires vital public services in extreme circumstances. Every 90 seconds somebody is reported missing to Police Forces across the United Kingdom.
