In Tanzania, the curriculum expects Grade 2 students to carry out both formal and informal measurements in weight, length, volume, and capacity — yet many schools don’t even have the materials to make this possible. 📏⚖️ It seems crazy to us! Thanks to Edx Education balance scales and a quick trip to Arusha to buy some weighing scales, we were able to teach these lessons hands-on — turning theory into real understanding. Instead of just drawing pictures on the board for children to copy, we watched them explore, measure, and learn with excitement. The difference?
