Members of Coney Hall Village WI took advantage of the recent sunny weather and walked a part of the London 'Waterlink Way' alongside the river and the railway, starting at Lower Sydenham Station. The walk takes in the River Pool Linear Park and Ladywell Fields, and eventually carries on to the Thames, although we finished at Ladywell, where you can find the site of the original ‘Lady Well’ (a mineral spring) marked with a blue plaque.
