When our founding trustee Mark Blakeston heard that the Millenium Clock in town was in urgent need of repair he immediately suggested to Driffield Town Council that we would take a look. To be honest, it was in a dire state - a real mess of wiring and rust. Following removal to the ‘Tidy Team’ workshop (where there is more space) and a full strip down, the clock was fully refurbished and carefully rebuilt to be better than it was when originally installed. So here’s to at least another 25-years and hopefully all 4 clock faces telling the same time on New Year’s Eve! 😀 (fb)
