Less than 2 weeks to go before we start rehearsals for our November concert, which promises to offer a varied and entertaining mix of classical music for your delectation! The programme will consist of Salieri's Faust Overture, Bottesini's Double Bass Concerto No. 2, Brahms' Variations on a Theme by Haydn (St. Anthony Variations) and Bizet's Symphony in C major. The concert will be held on Saturday 29th November at 3.00 pm in St. Margaret's Church, Buxted Park, TN22 4AY and all proceeds from interval refreshments will go to The Bevern Trust, who we are delighted to be supporting once again. We are a friendly local orchestra based in Buxted East Sussex We welcome players of all ages especially brass and string players We rehearse during termtime mainly in The Belmont Centre Uckfield and occasionally in St Mary39s Church Hall Buxted on Saturday mornings from 9301130 We perform in the Buxted and Uckfield area giving concerts two or three times a year 2023 by Classical Musician.
