🌟 Celebrating a True Community Hero – Welcome Back, Shaun! 🌟 Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No – it’s Shaun Lewis, our incredible Community Champion from Morrisons Rogerstone… not all heroes wear capes! Shaun has been through major surgeries and is still awaiting another operation – yet his commitment to our community has never wavered. Even while recovering, he was checking in, making sure projects kept moving, and supporting others wherever he could. From serving free meals at The Sycamore Centre on Christmas Day, to collecting for our Tiny Treasures Baby Bank, to providing blankets and essentials for families in need, to setting up Food Bank Pick Up Bags in-store… Shaun is always hands-on and always going the extra mile. His service doesn’t stop at Morrisons – Shaun is a decorated member of St John Ambulance, awarded the Long Service Medal and recently inducted into the Order of St John Priory, sanctioned by His Majesty King Charles III. Community truly runs through his veins. Supermarket community champions are the beating heart between stores and the communities they serve. They are an irreplaceable resource, and Shaun embodies that role completely – with a smile, with dedication, and with a genuine passion for helping others. Shaun, welcome back – you’ve been deeply missed. Everything you’ve done for us and so many other organisations has not gone unnoticed. It’s an honour to call you a friend. Thurs 21st at The Sycamore Centre by Community Volunteers Wales Thistle Way Ty Sign Care Fair and Fun Day - many local support services all under one roof. Plus lots of bouncy fun, ride ons, toys and crafts to keep the little ones entertained. THURSDAY is your chance to meet and chat to local police and councillors, Caerphilly Cares, ABUHB Caerphilly Cwtsh Community, Platfform, Perfect Fit and many more services and support groups.
