📣📣Our new course, Sew Basic has launched today! 🧵🪡🤩 We have packed out @cambridge_design_rooms with 15 sewing machines and 25 participants ready to do some peer-supported learning, meet different cultures and learn new skills. Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers supporting everyone too today with our tutor Siobhan @sewingwithsalledecouture. Today our sewing volunteers are Sue and Helen who have volunteered for over two years, and new volunteers Di, Emma, Helen, Hilary and Freya, joining us for their first volunteering sessions after their inductions! 🤩❤️🤩 This is our biggest ever group of participants on a short course, so peer-to-peer learning is facilitated to encourage people to work together and meet new people, with extra volunteer support and everyone is doing brilliantly!
