Bandstand Beds

Community food growing in the heart of Clapham Promotes the community growing of crops in order to further the social, economic and environmental well-being of local residents in Clapham. BBA is a volunteer-led organisation based on Clapham Common, formed to promote environmental sustainability, food growing and the support of wildlife. BBA has three growing spaces including a large community garden with a field kitchen. These provide people with an opportunity to get outdoors to learn, share and practise horticultural skills, meet people and be at one with the natural world.

A community garden growing fresh produce at the heart of Clapham Common Follow us. Volunteer Led Founded in 2013 by a handful of keen gardeners with the aim of providing an opportunity for people to get outdoors discover the joys of growing food and connect with nature. Local Produce At the garden we grow everything from squash to salad right in the centre of Clapham Common on the formerly derelict land on Lambeth Councils waste storage site. Inclusivity The garden is run by a diverse group of people of all ages who are keen to make our community growing space and organisation a welcoming place for everyone to enjoy.
