🚨 Team Update – Training & Call-out🚨 Today, our volunteers took part in a full-day training exercise, putting into practice every aspect of how we search for vulnerable missing people. From map working and statistics, to incident management, search techniques, casualty care, and extrication – it was a busy and valuable day for the whole team. 👏 A massive thank you goes to our Training Lead, Chris, for planning and organising the exercise, and to our colleagues at Norfolk & Suffolk 4x4 Response for joining us and supporting the training. Additionally, we had 8 Water Team members carry out their first day of requalification as DEFRA Mod 2 Flood and Swiftwater First Responders! However, the afternoon brought a callout from Norfolk Constabulary to assist in the search for a vulnerable missing person. The exercise was stood down immediately, and within an hour 22 team members were on scene and ready to deploy.
