Something very special happened yesterday. Our friends David and Dina, joined Alex Ngabirano and 6 members of the local community to go gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It was the first time members of Alex’s community had ever done the trail, and for the first time they could see their wildlife heritage as tourists and future conservationists. We are very proud to have sponsored these places and look forward to working with Mubare Biodiversity to bring more members of the local community to see and connect with the gorillas. (fb)
The fact that South African youth were able to connect with, and learn about the wild, because people in the U.K. came to watch our amazing RHINO MAN The Movie screening back in September, to us, is the true spirit of Ubuntu. Thank you to Koru Camp and Global Conservation Corps for making this magic happen. We are forever proud and grateful. (fb)
