Homeless Photography | MyWorld Photo Projects

The camera to calendar photography homeless photography project 100 cameras are given to participants with lived experience of homelessness. They take photos of the city they live in. The emphasis is on learning the skill of photography and having fun. All participants are invited to join a weekly photography mentoring group to learn more skills with digital cameras. A calendar with the winning photos ispublished and sold to the public online and in markets.

MyWorld Creative Projects is a newly registered charity set up to support photography projects in around the world. The emphasis is to help projects that involve the participants who have experienced homelessness to not only gain skills and experience in photography but to help them gain entrepreneurial skills to be able to sell their work. MyWorld came from the MyLondon project run by Cafe Art in London established in 2013.
