Rehoming Post - Gunner This smashing little chap first came into the rescue in ‘22 he came down from a lovely rescue in the midlands with Gordon …. ( he’s currently approx 11h and is a Shetland x Cob ) Gunner was two at the time and was rehomed to a lovely school in Wiltshire ….. Sadly , Gunner has recently been returned to the rescue as they couldn’t restrict his grazing during the school holidays ,so Gunner got laminitis last year a couple of times …. Gunner needs restricted grazing , we have had him on a bit of a diet since he’s been back with us too , as he was a little bit ‘ round ‘ when he came back …. This smashing chap hasn’t been backed sadly but would make an amazing little pony for someone either as a ridden pony ( once backed ) or as a companion … he is friendly , a bit cheeky but dead easy to do pretty much anything with …. We haven’t seen any issues since he’s been back with us , he’s cheeky and follows you round the paddock when poo picking but that’s about it ! He loads well , good to catch and handle , good to load and travel and happy round farm animals etc … So , if you think you could offer Gunner a new home and you live in Hampshire or the surrounding counties please apply via email or pm ….. We will need an overview of your current situation , your experience and what your plans are for Gunner . You must be prepared for a home check before adoption and again at 3 and 6 months ….. there is also an adoption agreement to sign , an adoption fee to be paid and we also ask for references …. 💙 (fb)
