Earlier today Safer off the Streets Peterborough partners attended one our quarterly partnership meetings. A packed and varied agenda saw our partners receiving important updates including, future learning opportunities, the latest on the Street Storage Peterborough project from Paddy Berryman of Light Project Peterborough. Look out for future announcements on the launch of this service. Our chair Anna Lee formally announced the launch of our all new website. Why not have a look. Next followed a presentation from Matt Oliver Peterborough City Council Housing and Outreach Team which included an update on the Homeless and Rough Sleeper Strategy. Sarah and Jasmine then updated partners on the work of Home Group Peterborough which provides recovery support to those having a homeless need. Finally partners were invited to participate in multi-topic workshops and subjects included - Poverty consultation - Anti social behaviour in the City Centre - Move on & Tenancy Statement - PCC Homeless Strategy - Changing futures Excellent opportunity to network and share ideas with likeminded organisations delivering essential services to the homeless and disadvantaged. #saferoffthestreets #peterboroughhomelessness #launchday (fb)
