✨ THOUGHTFUL THURSDAY ✨ Ecclesiastes 3 v 1 “To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven ”. Wise words from king Solomon. There are a few certainties in life, one of those is change! Seasons and time, are both from God the creator of all. How comfortable we get when our lives are just right. How uncomfortable we get when life goes wrong. In either scenario, there will be change! Both Joseph and Job, experienced diverse season`s in their lives. Job lost everything that was dear to Him in a day. Joseph was abandoned by his own brothers and thrown in a pit, sold to the Midianites, falsely accused by pharaohs wife, and imprisoned in Egypt. Yet Job in everything he suffered, would not curse God. Joseph in abandonment and imprisonment, did not blame God. God restored to Job double for His loss, God promoted Joseph, second only to Pharaoh, in Egypt. Change is certain for all of us. Yet Throughout every season and throughout all time. There is One who remains the same, Jesus the Eternal, Unchanging one. The One who knows the beginning and the end, of every trial and test. Isaiah tell us: “Those who Hope in the Lord, Will renew their strength, they will rise on wings like the eagle”. 🙏 PRAYER 🙏 Father God, In all season’s you remain the same, your steadfast love does not change. I anchor my Hope in you, the lifter of my head. ✨️ WEDNESDAY WISDOM ✨️ Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! Psalm 46:10 NKJV Be still - a commandment likely breathed into scripture during a time of conflict - is a direct, yet comforting invitation from Almighty God to rest in His assurance. Do you ever have so much work to do that you don't think you can carry on? Or carry a really stressful burden? Well, the Hebrew for "be still" here is RAPHA. It means release, let go, cease striving. There are times when our burdens and troubles can seem so heavy - yet when that someone in authority, or whom you are trying to placate says "Release it! Let go!", it's a huge relief. 🙏 Prayer 🙏 Father God, I will be still. I will release. I will let go. I will cease striving. And I will know that You are God. You will be exalted among the nations. You will be exalted in the earth. Praise You forever.
