What an amazing day we had in the woods! Our Year 2 pupils embraced their inner naturalists during their Woodland session, investigating which animals they might find living in the local habitat. Using their imagination and wonderful natural materials they found all around, they sculpted fantastic creatures from clay. With leaves, twigs, and stones at their fingertips, they crafted everything from forest animals to magical creatures. The results were truly wonderful, and we couldn't be more pleased with how creative everyone was. It was a perfect mix of nature, art and fun!
