Some of you may have noticed we have been a bit quiet this month. This is due, in part, to the fact that some of our volunteers are on holiday in South Africa!! It's become a bit of a tradition for the Silth's crew to try and find rescues we can support whilst abroad and in Johannesburg our volunteers successed and found the Woodrock Cat Café & The Mews. This amazing place is a paradise for the resident cats, whilst helping raise awareness for Woodrock Animal Rescue, all the animals they have up for adoption and raising much needed funds. Each cat at the cafe is a registered therapy cat and all had been rescued by Woodrock Animal Rescue before joining the café crew as rescue ambassadors! It just goes to show how the right environment and people can make any cat, no matter their history or breed, the purfect coffee companion ❤️ (fb)

The feeder for our feral colony can have anywhere up to 15 cat visiting for food! We are so greatful for the members of the community that help out street cats and especially those who worked with us to get this colony neutered. There is always more work to be done but the situation has vastly improved for these cats and with a mostly stable population we can focus on keeping them healthy and assisting with the feeding costs!!
