We previously gave it away that we're taking Last and First Men – one of our best works (we think so anyway) – to Melbourne’s Rising Festival. Here’s why we think that’s important. Contemporary dance doesn’t often get this kind of global platform. So, we’re beyond excited to show the world what a Swindon-born company can do. Last and First Men isn’t just a dance piece – it’s a full-on interdisciplinary experience. Blending film, choreography, music, and costume design, the work reflects our passion for collaboration. This trip is a chance to showcase not just Neon Dance, but all the brilliant partners here in the UK who helped bring the piece to life. Its creation was made possible thanks to funding from Arts Council England’s National Lottery Project Grants. But it reflects our belief that dance deserves a regular spot on the world’s leading arts festival stages. We’re proud to take it across the globe. Let’s show the world that Swindon moves!
