As a part of this years @LLeyburn Jazz Festival, we’re excited to welcome guest musician Paul Edis for a special Jazz Workshop on Saturday 18th October, 10.00am–1.00pm at St. Matthew’s Church, Leyburn. This free session will explore jazz standards, composition, and improvisation. Wensleydale Young Musician of the Year 2025 Entries are now open for this year’s Young Musician of the Year competition. The Wensleydale round will take place on Sunday 23rd November, with winners going on to represent our area at the regional finals. Open to young people aged 7–18 who live in, or attend school in, North Yorkshire, the competition welcomes a wide range of performers - from solo vocalists and instrumentalists to ensembles and bands.
