It’s been nearly a month since our @bbcradio4 charity appeal. We are still receiving cheques through from the appeal, and have been so pleased with the extra interest in our work, thank you. A Backpack Nurse takes healthcare to people by venturing out to remote villages often on a motorbike, taxi or even on foot with a backpack filled with basic supplies. CHASE Africa funds over 50 BPNs who reach over 50 communities a month, providing essential healthcare services and information to many underserved communities across east Africa. #r4appeal #outreach #nurse (fb)
