Match Report - Cadbury Athletic U7 Colts Another impressive display from the team in a tightly contested home fixture against Hampton FC. The hard work in training continues to show, with the boys keeping their shape well for long spells and producing some excellent finishes in front of goal. The main difference on the day came from Hampton’s long-range efforts and a couple of quick counter-attacks in the second half. That said, it was brilliant to see every player working hard to track back and defend together when it mattered most. Match Report: Kingshurst Pavilions 1 - 2 Cadbury Colts U9 Autumn Cup Absolutely unreal game today from the boys and so proud of each and every one them, to bounce back from a goal down to a deserved 2-1 win! I think we were unlucky not to be in the lead in the first half and to concede at all, and you could see that the boys confidence was knocked a bit by the goal we conceded, but what was fantastic about today for me was how we stuck in the match and kept playing, and got what we deserved in the end. A fantastic free kick from Hughie which I don’t think a team full of goalies would have kept out, followed shortly after by a great weaving run up the right wing to cross for Jack to slot home the winner. Goals: Hughie ⚽️(FK) Jack ⚽️ Assist: Hughie 🅰️ we could have given man of the match to all the boys today! But Edward was solid and brave in goal today, took a boot to the hand and after a quick break got back into the match showing his range by playing up front for us, and for that sort of commitment and bravery, he gets my man of the match today!
