Scroll for our April rescue round up ➡️➡️➡️ We're incredibly grateful to have received a substantial donation in March from an anonymous donor. 🙏 The hard times we've faced recently are all made worthwhile knowing that what we're doing is supported so strongly. At our Trustee meeting last night, we discussed ways we could use this money to make a big impact on animal welfare. We'll put some of it into savings to protect the charity for the future, and the rest will go towards exciting projects. Stay tuned for updates! 👀 We welcomed four new cats into our care and waved another five animals off for adoption. Congratulations to cats Aimee, Zed, Odette, and Poppy as well as dog Lea. We can't wait to see how they all settle into their new homes. 🏡 April saw us welcome two new volunteers to the team who are smashing their training! 🤩 Once they're fully set up, our Trustees will have more time to focus on the charity's growth and long-term plans. 📈 Thank you to everyone who continues to support our life-saving work. To say we had an eventful evening last night would be an understatement... 😫 Our team flew into panic mode when we saw an online advert advertising two Ragdoll cats, Raffy and Coco, aged 7, over 100 miles from where their adopter lives. The description and photos were an almost perfect match for Raffy and Coco adopted from us in 2022. All sorts of things went through our heads. Had their adopter moved home and forgotten about our lifelong rescue back up? Had they been stolen and were now being sold? Could they end up in the wrong hands being advertised online? 💔 After a frantic call and email to their adopter, we discovered the advert we saw was for a DIFFERENT pair of cats, eerily similar to our two. Our Raffy and Coco were safe and sound in their rightful home, enjoying a shoe box! 😅 What are the chances of there being two bonded pairs so similar in name, age, personality, and colouring?!
