[1/2] The Queen's Reading Room is delighted to announce the return of its highly anticipated flagship event, The Queen's Reading Room Festival, which will take place on 19th and 20th September 2025 at Chatsworth in Derbyshire! The Festival, which will be produced in collaboration with Chatsworth House Trust, will bring together authors, experts, actors and literature lovers against the famous backdrop for the 2005 film adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. The star-studded literary line-up will include Jilly Cooper, Helen Fielding, Jojo Moyes, Julia Quinn, Richard Osman, Natasha Brown, Samantha Shannon, Sarah Winman, Kristin Hannah, Peter James, Rupert Everett, Robert Harris, Peter Frankopan, Sebastian Faulks, Lady Anne Glenconner, Gyles Brandreth, Sarah Waters, Haillie Rubenhold, Celia Imrie, Reeta Chakrabarti and Alan Titchmarsh - as part of a suite of world-class literary programming. The Festival will celebrate the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen and feature a screening of Pride and Prejudice in the Chatsworth Garden, as well as a very special session on the incredible life of Jane Austen, led by Lizzie Dunford of Jane Austen's House.
