Call-out #27 22 October We were called out at 11.54 by police to assist the coastguard with ongoing searches in relation to a missing person in the Totnes area. The multi agency response covered a number of areas and police enquiries are ongoing. Whilst carrying out a bankside search, one of the teams located a calf which was stuck in the mud and unlikely to survive for too much longer. HMCG were able to contact the farmer and the team rigged a system to help extract it, for which the farmer was extremely grateful. We stood down at 18.00 having completed the areas. #devon #searchandrescue (fb)
