This July, Campion Hall, Oxford hosted the fourth 'Pedro Arrupe Summer School in Forced Migration' — a two-week programme bringing together Jesuits in formation and religious sisters from around the world. Led by experts from Jesuit Refugee Service, Boston College, and Campion Hall, the course explored the global reality of forced displacement through theology, social science, Catholic social teaching, and Ignatian spirituality. Participants engaged with lectures, films, discussions, and site visits — drawing on real-world experience from Jesuit ministries supporting refugees and migrants worldwide. On completing the course, each participant received a certificate from Campion Hall and JRS. The summer school forms part of the Jesuit mission to stand in solidarity with forcibly displaced people.
